Emergency reporting

What to do in emergency situations

  • First of all, you must call the emergency number explaining the situation and location.
  • The person who discovered the emergency event shall alert others by shouting to make others notice and inform ERT personnel.
  • Do not get panic.
  • In case of fire, spillage, or gas release, all employees must shut down all electrical sources/equipment/devices as they evacuate.
  • In the event that a fire becomes uncontrollable, don’t try to extinguish it.
  • Those persons not involved in the emergency response team (ERT), shall assemble at the assembly point and headcount must be initiated.
  • Report if someone is missing during the headcount to the supervisor and subsequently coordinate with the ERT leader to determine appropriate action.
  • The medical team is on standby to respond in any emergency.
  • The headcount matches the total number of employees.
  • No one shall leave the assembly point unless all clear signals have been raised or instructed by the ERT coordinator.
  • In case of gas release, check the wind direction and go cross-wind to any control room.
